Ink Level Reset for Cartridges HP 21, HP 27, HP 56, HP 58, HP 22, HP28 and HP 57

At some cases, tutorial reset ink level HP cartridges in this blog sometime fail to. Which is is possible to be caused by the condition of every printer differ. If this way and this fail to reset ink level cartridges HP 21, HP 27, HP 56, HP 58, HP 22, HP 28 and HP28, you can use following methode.

* Turn your computer OFF and then remove cartridge from printer.
* Turn printer off
* Place a piece of tape over the top left contact as shown in BLUE on the picture to the right.
* Turn on printer. Printer will automatically print test page. (if printer does not print a test page but goes through a priming routine continue following steps when routine ends.
* Remove cartridge from printer.
* Place a piece of tape over top right contact as shown in RED on the picture to the right.
* Return cartridge to printer. Printer will go through a series of tests. Which will be quite audible.
* Remove cartridge from printer.
* Place a piece of tape over the two contacts on the right side of the cartridge as shown in GREEN on the picture to the right.
* Return cartridge to printer. Printer will run additional tests and be quite audible.(If you check your ink levels at this point you will receive a “printer busy message”)
* Remove cartridge from printer and remove all tape from cartridge.
* Reinstall cartridge. (If you check your ink levels at this point you will receive a “printer busy message”)
* Turn printer off. Wait for 20 seconds and turn the printer back on. Ink level should now read full.

1. Remove the formatter cover. See Formatter cover, formatter cage, and formatter PCA
on page 152.
2. Open the formatter cage door.
3. Push the DIMM-locking arms away from the DIMM to release it, and then pull the DIMM out of the
DIMM slot.

Pull the tray out of the product to remove it.

Left-side cover

Open the print-cartridge door.

At the back of the printer, use a flat-blade screwdriver to release two tabs (1).

 Removing the left-side cover
3. Lift the cover away from the printer.

Right-side cover

1.Open the print-cartridge door.
2. Remove tray 2.

At the front of the printer, pop the front edge of the right-side cover over the two retaining tabs.

 Removing the right-side cover 4. Lift the cover away from the printer.

Back cover

1. Remove tray 2.
2. Remove the left-side cover and the right-side cover.
3. Remove four screws (1).

 Removing the back cover
4. Tip the printer so that it rests on its front.
5. Release the tab (2) at the back of the printer on the right side.
Lift the cover straight up and away from the printer.

Top cover

1.Remove the left-side cover, the right-side cover, and the back cover
2. Remove two screws (1) at the back of the printer.

3. Remove one screw (1) on the left side of the printer, and remove one screw (2) on the right side of the printer.

Release the control-panel cable (1) on the left side of the printer.

5. Lift the top cover off the printer.

HP NYSE HPQ results in a 19 revenue decline in printing and imaging

HP (NYSE HPQ) is out with Q1 earnings after todays market close, and overall, in keeping with the times, the company is reporting some somewhat stunning numbers, both good and bad. Overall the company is up in quarterly revenue by 1%, year over year, and EPS (non-GAPP diluted) actually increased 8%.

And the imaging and printing story is a bit mixed, with a (to me anyway) stunning 19% decline in quarterly revenue, to $6.0 Billion, but a similarly amazing flat operating profit, at $1.1 Billion, on the back of hugely improved profit margin (18.5%!).

Updating April 2012 Observations Facebook and Instagram

In my April 2012 Observations, "What A Difference Seven Years Makes", I covered the (then) recently announced Facebook acquisition of Instagram, characterized then (though Facebook was still pre-IPO) as a One Billion Dollar Deal! In case you were off with the Curiousity on its way to Mars, or somewhere else equally off the grid, Facebook has had their IPO, and now with a stock price currently barely half of its $38 offering price. And most recently (yesterday), the FCC approved the acquisition. On SAI Business Insider, Owen Thomas has some great "new math" on the deal, including the fact the deal is now estimated at a $747 buy.
