component. Ground the product chassis before servicing the product.
1. Remove the formatter cover. See Formatter cover, formatter cage, and formatter PCA
on page 152.
2. Open the formatter cage door.
3. Push the DIMM-locking arms away from the DIMM to release it, and then pull the DIMM out of the
DIMM slot.
